How to Find Us:

From Kansas City

• 1. Head south on Oak St toward E 13th St.
• 2. Turn left onto Truman Rd.
• 3. Turn right onto Campbell St.
• 4. Take the ramp on the left onto US-71 S.
• 5. Merge onto US-71 S.
• 6. Continue onto I-49/US-71 S.
• 7. Take exit 53 for Missouri 96/U.S. 71 Business/Missouri 171 N/Central Ave toward Missouri 571 S/Webb City.
• 8. Turn right onto I-49BUS.
• 9. Continue onto MO-249 S (signs for I-44/US-71/Joplin).
• 10. Continue onto I-49.
• 11. Continue onto US-71 S/ entering Arkansas.
• 12. Follow I-49 S to Fayetteville, Fort Smith.
• 13. At Fayetteville continue on I-49 S toward Fort Smith.
• 14. EXIT from I-49 at CHESTER/EXIT 34 (21 miles north of the I-40/I-49 junction.)
• 15. TURN RIGHT on Hwy 282 West at the exit ramp stop sign.
• 16. GO Straight through the town of Chester and turn LEFT on BROWN ST.
• 17. Cross the railroad tracks & river; continue straight up BROWN ST (aka Old No. 12) 3.5 miles.
• 18. TURN LEFT on Wilson Branch Dr. just past Lands End Rd. A red and white county road sign and StoneWind Retreat's sign are on the corner of Wilson Branch Dr. and No. 12 Crossroads
• 19. Turn LEFT onto WILSON BRANCH DR. (gravel road).
• 20. NO MATTER WHAT YOUR GPS SAYS, ONCE ON WILSON BRANCH, DO NOT TURN LEFT ANYWHERE. Stay to the right all the way to the top of the mountain.
• 21. On Wilson Branch, cross the low-water bridge and go straight up the road from bridge;
• 22. Road angles right, continue straight through the stone pillars and over the cattle guard;
• 23. Stay to the right up the mountainpast the stone house on right.
• 24. Continue slowly up the mountain. Caution, one lane road.
• 25. Moss-covered standing Stones on either side of the gate mark the entrance to StoneWind Retreat.
• 26. Continue to top of mountain, about another 500 feet.
• 27. At intersection of StoneWind Dr. and Warrior's Way turn RIGHT through the stone pillars and proceed to the Red Barn Offices for check-in. The East Room is also in the Red Barn.
