3 Hour Intro to Meditation

StoneWind’s 3-Hour Intro to Meditation is available on request. This class focuses on three major meditative techniques–breath control, mantras, and mindfulness–with the goal of helping beginning meditators experience the positive subtle changes that occur within the mind and nervous system through what we call “meditation.”

The goal of the class is to help students find the form of meditation most compatible with their lifestyles and nervous systems in a streamlined format that focuses on three different forms of meditation that are easy to learn and do. In this new approach, students begin building skills immediately, have an opportunity to practice and ask questions during class, and go home with a clear practice goal.

The course is taught by Suzanne Parnell, Ph.D., RM, director of StoneWind Institute for Mind-Body Medicine, who has over 40 years experience with meditation in a range of formats.

StoneWind Retreat offers Meditation and Qigong taught through StoneWind Institute.

These classes are generally taught in a 3-hour-long introductory class that takes place in your yurt with Dr. Suzanne Parnell. There is a minimum requirement of two people per class. All classes are $75/person.
